CEBU, Philippines - Citigym at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino, the first and only gym that operates 24 hours a day, in celebration of its 4th year anniversary is mounting a run at 4 kilometers, 6 kilometers and 12 kilometers on March 28, 2010 at 5AM.The Citirun, which is open to non-Citigym members, was organized to further promote the running boom in Cebu.

The initial turn around point for the run is at four kilometers to symbolize the four years of Citigym’s existence in providing quality round the clock quality fitness to its clientele.

Race starting point is at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel’s lagoon area proceeding to the streets of Salinas, Gorordo, Escario, Capitol, Jones and back. Citigym Program & Fitness Director Anne Manubag, who is at the helm of this endeavor, assures runners of the ample amount of water for the registrants as there will be waterstops every 2 kilometers. Exciting prizes await winners.

Registration is pegged at P200. Deadline is on March 26. Registration sites are at the Cebu City Sports Center, Lahug Barangay Hall, Toby’s SM, RUNNR Ayala, Philippines Sports Commission Office and Citigym. All race kits (including the singlet and race bib) shall be distributed at Citigym on March 25 and 26.
