Crown Regency Institute of Tourism & Hospitality soon to open

CEBU, Philippines - Crown Regency is undeniably the newest landmark in this part of the city. Having positioned itself in the midst of uptown Cebu City, it has inched its way as one of the most popular hotels in the region.

Despite this, Crown Regency forges on with the opening soon of an institute that aims to equip would-be hoteliers with the optimum training and skills that would likely make them the future leaders in the industry. In carrying out this noble purpose, the Institute, in a way, will help in the promotion of Tourism in the Philippines which is basically inclined with the initiative of both the local and national government.

The Crown Regency Institute of Tourism and Hospitality (CRITH), will be located at the Fuente Tower 1 or the Crown Regency Hotel & Towers. It is envisioned as a stock and profit corporation owned and managed by Crown Regency Institute of Tourism & Hospitality, Incorporated, with SEC Registration Certificate No. CS200919135 and DTI Registration Certificate No. 00879758.

The Institute is duly registered with TESDA and its TVET Program offerings are likewise recognized by the same government agency. This is to ensure that the provision of education and training abide with the prescribed regulations and standards.

The prime purpose of its establishment is to offer Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET) Programs related to Tourism and Hospitality Industry and will also serve as an Assessment Center for TESDA graduate students.

We take pride to announce, that Crown Regency Institute of Tourism & Hospitality would be the first training Institute, as far as TVET Program is concerned, established within the premises of a world-class hotel. This would be its cutting edge compared to the rest.  This set up will certainly assure the provision of the key elements of Training: On-the-Job Training and hands-on application of knowledge and skills acquired by learners/trainees, and this will be to the advantage of the graduate-trainees, since these are given much weight as they search for their job.
