To set everyone’s festive mood this Chinese New Year, Parkmall has invited professional Lion and Dragon Dancers from the Philippine Hong-Sing Sporting Association. It’s always been a part of the Chinese tradition to have a performance of the lion and dragon dance during this occasion. The movements in the performance traditionally symbolize historical roles of dragons demonstrating power and dignity. The dragon dance is a highlight of Chinese New Year celebrations held worldwide in Chinatowns across the globe.

Dragons are believed to bring good luck and positive vibrations to people, with their qualities that include great power, dignity, fertility, wisdom and auspiciousness. So, what better thing to bring in on Chinese New Year than the Lion and Dragon dance?
