Ayala Center Cebu wins Philippine Quill Award of Merit

-

CEBU, Philippines - In this year’s Philippine Quill Awards, Ayala Center Cebu’s The Terraces was hailed the Merit Award for Special Events under the category of Communication Management.

Organized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines, the Philippine Quill Awards is the country’s most prestigious and relevant award for business communicators.

Judged under the Communication Management division – one of three divisions along with Communication Skills and Communication Creative – the entry demonstrated successful planning and management skills, including research, analysis, strategy, tactical implementation and evaluation.

The winning entry titled: “The Terraces: An Urban Escape Made for Extraordinary Celebrations,” detailed Ayala Center Cebu’s pre-launch, launch and sustaining activities that have defined The Terraces as truly a Cebuano landmark and transformed into an iconic venue that built and sustained relationships, integrated innovation with respect to the natural landscape, and contributed to the economic and social growth of the Cebuano community.

Evaluated by both foreign and local experts, this year’s entries swelled to more than 200 entries submitted by creative agencies and companies in the country.

The venue for the 2009 Philippine Quill Awards was at the Philippine International Convention Center, CCP Complex in Manila last October 22, 2009.
