ASP Christmas Program at SM

-

CEBU, Philippines - Christmas is really a time to be jolly especially when special kids from other schools came together and shared their talents last December 21.

Children with special needs flocked to SM City Entertainment Plaza to sing and dance their hearts out, as parents, teachers and other professionals met and let the audience become aware of their plight.

Children from special centers like PRIME Foundation, ILLC, Zapatera Special Education Center, M-ZED and REACH CENTER Mandaue and REACH CENTER Main performed, making their teachers, parents and friends so proud.

The New Life Sounds Choir graced the event by singing the Invocation and the National Anthem while Eli, the Elephant and Alex the Lion entertained the children after 3 presentations. The ASP Cebu Chapter President, Ms. Sandra Corazon Espina, gave her message and announced the activities lined up for 2010.

The presentation ended with a short message from the ASP Cebu Chapter-PRO, Ms. Babylin Roa and was followed by the parents’ meeting, wherein officers asked for volunteers in order to form committees to take charge of the up-coming events for the Autism week on January 9 to 15, 2010.
