OroTime's Metallic Dreams for New Year
CEBU, Philippines - “There’s a sense of intuition that goes into designing accessories; you know for yourself what you want,” said Bryan Que, who, with a team of edgy Filipinos and Italians, designs the self-confident new line OroTime. That’s synonymous with the chic accessory line with the new trend health bands. And judging from this polished runway (the models did the stationary pose instead of the usual runway debut), it’s a name to be reckoned with.
The elite team of artisans brought their own point of view to the four themes that have been running wild, starting with their Day Resort looks. They showed malleable silver that is as light as a feather topping it of with semi precious stones like onyx etc for the Evening Resort looks. Accessorizing went further ahead with most coveted pieces of their own invention for the Clubwear Line. Softer, but in a sculptural way, was a series of neckpieces, bracelets and rings for the ladies and gents. The cream of this collection, though, was the Evening Formals. A series of glittering earrings, necklaces and rings paired with a very simple black column dress had an irresistible fluidity. “It’s sort of classy, but we’re into the eighties idea of accessorizing for women who want to look polished,” concluded Que, who’s bent to have quite a promising career ahead of him and conquering the whole nation first, then go global. Bravissimo!
