RCCF'S 28th annual induction rites

One of the most active and multi-awarded Rotary clubs in this part of the globe, the Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente, recently had their 28th annual induction of officers. The venue of the event was at the ballroom of the Casino Español de Cebu with no less than Rotary District 3860 Governor Tony Veneracion as their honored guest.

Inducted into office were Rady Abarintos, president; Dinna Ramos, vice president; Joel Dy, secretary; Ian Verga, treasurer; Jaq Siwala, PRO; Jun Torres, Sol Pasion, auditor and adviser; and Joal Abad, Tina Bacalso, Te Gonzales, Titong Rafols and Jesse Baring, directors. Eileen Mangubat and Bernie Uy were also inducted as honorary members of RCCF on the same occasion.

Special awards were also given out that night to Dinna Ramos as Rotarian of the Year, Joel Dy as New Rotarian of the Year, Rady Abarintos as Most Outstanding Officer, Teenie Tio as Most Outstanding Project Chairman and Jun Torres as Most Outstanding Past President while Me’anne Alcordo-Solomon and Maricel Amores were awarded with the prestigious Presidential Award by Immediate Past President Rollie Filipino.

ABS-CBN’s Born Diva winner and RCCF’s friend and supporter Raki Vega definitely added glitter to the affair and awed the audience with her laudable rendition of Lea Salonga’s songs, Tomorrow and Journey.

To the Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente, congratulations and more power!
