STYLE GENERATION @ Loalde

Nia Durano Aldeguer, the Creative Director of Loalde, said the clothing company is already known for its classic designs. Style Generation, she said, is their way of capturing the young market to bring in new customers.

“When our loyal customers shop at Loalde, they bring along their teenagers, their kids. They have been asking us to also develop a line that would be a hit with the younger generation. So we decided to broaden our market and keep up with the times. This is basically what Style Generation is. It’s trendy but still with the classic designs of Loalde. We now have lighter colors and the cuts are more modern,” she said.

Nia added that to complement the line that is geared toward the younger generation, Loalde also decided to look for someone to represent the new campaign, and Mikaela was chosen to be the face of Style Generation.

Chris Aldeguer, President of Loalde, also said that aside from a line for the young and a fresh face to represent the new campaign, the newer stores of Loalde also have a more modern look. Loalde already has 12 boutiques nationwide, all located in upscale malls. Aldeguer said the Cebu-based clothing line plans to open four more boutiques, concentrating more in the Luzon area.

In Cebu, Loalde is at the Ayala Center and at The Northwing at the SM City Cebu.
