The advantages of Camella Communities' Multi-Level Home

CEBU, Philippines - Aesthetics and space-efficiency, these are among the advantages of a Camella Communities multi-level home. Especially in a development where fantastic views are the greatest assets, design engineers created homes that gently cascade down the hillside, flowing up or down the terrains’ natural contours, creating several levels with only one to three steps connecting one to the other.

These multi-level homes are now on offer at Camella Communities’ developments in Lawaan, Talisay, the Azienda Torino and Azienda Lombardi, and in Talamban , the Riverdale.

According to Camella Communities VisMin Regional Planning Head Arch. Art Secuya, “Our multi-level home has a maximum slope of 30 degrees. We call this the habitable slope because more than that would already be a bit hazardous especially if you have children and senior citizens. As much as possible we want our houses under the 30-degree slope. That way it is stable with its slight sloping and minimum angle maintained.”

With a multi-level home, lot area varies in accordance with the terrain’s specifications. Arch. Secuya explains, “We are a developer who wants to build on what the terrain naturally has to offer. In our development in Talisay, the Azienda Torino and Lombardi, there are many variations in its hilly terrain. We build depending on the area’s topography. Normally, the depth is around 15 to 20 meters going up or down.”

The multi-level home design achieves space efficiency with more area within the split-levels for additional rooms. Unlike the traditionally flat two-storey home, the design is unique and multi-dimensional. Azienda Lombardi House Models offer two and a half levels.

Secuya relates, “Here you have a split floor, with a lower ground and upper ground to fit the existing terrain. This gives more drama to your usual flat house where you go in and see the living room and bedroom all in one level. This time living area is on a different level from your dining area, and so on.”

It design is also resident-friendly, with mobility achieved in easy strides (hassle-free in the eyes of the physically challenged) unlike traditional two-storey homes with full staircases that you have to climb and leave you gasping for air. For details call +6332-2533403 or visit their office at the G/F, Dakay Bldg., Escario St., Capitol Site, Cebu City.

Secuya adds that, “Safety requirements in a multi-level home also follow the same standards as any home building endeavor, with careful consideration of the steps on stairs, the level and elevation of floors, and the railings so that even kids and senior citizens can easily traverse.”

Likewise, it makes the most of the breathtaking view at both the Azienda with its sea views and the Riverdale with hills and lush foliage around it.
