CEBU, Philippines - Known to house some of the country’s most treasured modern and contemporary visual art works, The Metropolitan Museum of Manila served as the perfect venue to launch three of Avon’s masterworks in beauty product innovations.
The global beauty and direct selling company introduced its three newest breakthrough products in personal care, color and fragrance ——Skin So Soft Intensive Whitening Hand and Body Lotion, Avon Glazewear Dimensions Lipstick, and Jet Femme Eau de Toilette (EDT). These introductions were yet another testament to Avon’s commitment to make the Filipinas feel and look like the gorgeous ‘works of art’ that they are.
Billed as “Beauty Masterpieces,” the event took inspiration from three iconic artworks in underscoring the innovation behind each new Avon product: Sandro Boticelli’s “Birth of Venus” was the perfect showcase for the intensive whitening benefit derived from Avon’s Skin So Soft Intensive Whitening Hand and Body Lotion; Marilyn Monroe’s famous full lips in Andy Warhol’s “Marilyn” was the most fitting canvas on which to paint Avon Glazewear Dimensions Lipstick; and James E. Buttersworth’s “Puritan and Genesta” perfectly exuded the carefree and jet-setting lifestyle evoked by Avon’s new fragrance Jet Femme EDT.
