Abacá's Guest Chef In Residence

-

CEBU, Philippines - Although it has consistently maintained its status as one of Cebu’s ultimate dining destinations, abacá boutique resort + restaurant has never been one to rest on its laurels. Constantly pushing the bar higher for themselves and for Cebu’s dining landscape, owners Jason and Anna Hyatt have always strived to offer their diners something better and new to look forward to. This July even the restaurant’s regulars are in for a few surprises as abacá brings back Hong Kong Chef Wade Watson for an extended stay from

July 24 to August 2.

From July 24 to 31, expect a completely new menu at abacá as Chef Wade brings with him his whimsical take on Pan-Asian and Oceanic Cuisine. This very special engagement will include a daily 5-course set dinner for just P1275++ per person.

There’s more. From August 1 to 2, Chef Wade tops off his residency by hosting and cooking an old fashion Aussie Barbie (that’s Australian barbeque) by the resort and restaurant’s poolside. This all-you-can-eat barbeque extravaganza will include smoked sausages, grilled meats and seafood with unlimited mojitos from 3-7pm at P2000++ per person.

The menu may be new, but it’s the same promise of impeccable service and just straightforward, excellent food. abacá reverts back to its original menu starting August 3, so while you will have new dishes to explore, you will always have your old favorites to come back to.

abacá boutique resort + restaurant is located on Punta Engaño Road, Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan, Cebu. For restaurant reservations, call (032) 495 3461.
