Entrepreneur Ma. Cristina “Teng” Angan understands what women fancy and go ga-ga for – stylish and highly functional knickknacks and trinkets aside from the usual beauty products, garbs for smart dressing and accessories. Her business venture took flight a month ago.
For the bag-obsessed, Teng got her creativity brewing by coming up with bag hooks/bag hangers. Would you dare put your light-hued, Prada, Gucci or Marc Jacobs double-duty bags on the floor? Of course not! Teng calls it a “dining companion” in which a tote bag is hung on the hook to keep your bag off dirty floors. These hooks will spare you from putting your bag on your lap or hang it on a chair. This bag hanger, placed atop a plain strong ledge of a table, is sturdy and is capable of carrying even an overwhelmingly bulky tote. It comes in fancy designs such as the round head with built-in compact mirror, cocktail ring-colored squarish head designs, among many others. Designed for women on the go, these bag hooks which Teng branded as “The Bag aKcessories” are priced affordably from over P200 but less than P300. Isn’t that neat?
Compact mirrors that come in silver and gold hues are among Teng’s favorite things to sell, as well necklaces and bracelets that are also flashdrives!
Because business is good, Teng decided to “give back” by having Pink Ribbon (pertaining to cancer awareness) bag hooks with matching purse holders, and silver bracelets. For each item sold, P50 will go to the I Can Serve foundation, a breast cancer support group.
