Negros Navigation's "Chairman's Night"

We were honored to take part in a very special gathering of one of the country’s leading shipping companies today, Negros Navigation (NN). It was a big treat by their Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, the very amiable Sulficio “Jun” Tagud, Jr. to all their officers and employees for a job well done. A monthly activity of the company, the “Chairman’s Night,” held at the NN compound at the Port Area Manila, is a true picture of one, big, happy family. The smiles and laughter of the employees certainly reflected the very high morale of the Negros Navigation organization. With the brilliant leadership of Mr. Tagud, there’s no doubt the company will prosper to greater heights.

After a sumptuous dinner prepared by their own “Negrenses” food and beverage team, a contest took place featuring the different departments’ interpretations of significant historical events. We were particularly impressed by the very meaningful presentations, not to mention the loud cheers of support for their colleagues representing their respective departments. Each department went home with cash prizes. There was also a raffle draw of appliances won by lucky NN employees. The fun event was capped by endless singing and dancing led by a local band. 

Giving their full support to their Chairman were members of the Mancom headed by NN’s President and Chief Operating Officer Jerry Cruzabra, Vice President and Head for Commercial Management Ed de la Cruz, EVP for Passage Business – Luzon Mimsy Mapa, OIC – PMMD Maribel P. Gavileno and Dr. Haman Bruno, NN’s Consultant for Systems and HRD. After a successful testing of F2020 Fuel Saver on Negros Navigation’s vessels and with the company now using the product in their fleet, the F2020 family was in full force in the event: F2020 International’s Chairman Rudy Tan, F2020 International’s President and CEO Bernie Pacheco, officers of Six Eleven Marketing Corp., the exclusive distributor of F2020 Fuel Saver in Cebu and the entire shipping industry headed by its President and CEO Ramon Fernandez with wife Karla Kintanar-Fernandez, SVP and Sales and Marketing Director Boobi Kintanar and Vice President for International Marketing Didik Kintanar.
