CEBU, Philippines - Well-known chef Gene Gonzalez is now in Cebu, whipping up a memorable culinary feast at the Marco Polo Plaza and paying homage to the best of Philippine cuisine. One of the highlights of his visit will be a booksigning of his bestselling Little Cookbooks series. The series now has five new titles, namely The Little Rice Book, The Little Coconut Book, The Little Lumpia Book, The Little Egg Book and The Little Philippine Bar Book 2. The other titles in the series are: The Little Adobo Book, The Little Ulam Book and The Little Kakanin Book, are all bestsellers.
The Little Cookbook series features simple and easy-to-prepare recipes for busy but adventurous foodies. In his latest books, Chef Gene developed adaptations of different international recipes, using local and indigenous ingredients.
The booksinging will be held in Powerbooks Cebu at the second floor of the North Wing of SM City Cebu on June 12, 3-5PM. Buyers of the book will get a chance to win prizes from Powerbooks and Anvil Publishing.
