The bus has parked

CEBU, Philippines - The bus has parked and it’s totally wired!

Last April 3 at the parking lot of Cebu’s ultimate lifestyle bar, Formo in Banilad Town Center, the PLDT myDSL Speedster Bus pompously parked, signaling its full blown entry into Cebu’s lazy traffic.

My bet is that this would be the cause of traffic in Cebu’s hippest places as the bus plans to go around the different hang-out places of night owls during wee hours and on daytime, touring around the island to park in places already wired with PLDT myDSL.

So, what’s in the bus? PLDT’s vice president for DSL retail sales Gary Dujali promises that it will be loaded with everything that a prospective DSL subscriber would need, plus with the assistance of Linksys through Cisco’s country sales manager Jason Villados, free internet surfing will be offered inside the bus, and even outside, that is if you’ll be comfortable sitting under the blazing heat of the sun, but don’t worry as the bus will also be bringing other exciting events of PLDT like speed drifting exhibitions, the ultra broadband blow out and connect patrol booths.

Inside, the bus has a very comfortable lounge, a mini bar, and a disc jockey to pipe out some groovy music and beautiful ladies to entice and assist people to the bus.

Hook ups will be instant as there will be sales agents who can answer inquiries and process applications. All you would need to bring is an ID card and an application fee depending on the plan that would suit your needs.

So when you see the Speedster bus in your neighborhood, better be ready for there will surely be a blast of a party!
