One night in San Remigio

It was truly one good reason for the Ynoc family of San Remigio Beach Club Sports and Leisure Resort to celebrate and gather their closest friends and some of our colleagues from the media when the resort’s new wing was completed and formally inaugurated a couple of weekends ago. The new wing of the 7.5-hectare resort, houses the Café Gloria which offers an extensive and delectable menu, the Triton and Poseidon Halls, 4 Dormitory rooms, and the Executive and Ambassador suites. Very much at the helm were General Manager Mark Anthony Ynoc and his supportive parents Antonio and Gloria.

A Holy Mass was offered infront of the new edifice before the ceremonial ribbon-cutting and blessing. An impressive and colorful fireworks display followed as the guests were guided to the Poseidon and Triton Halls for the dinner feast. While everyone was enjoying the specially prepared “oh-so-yummy” crabs and prawns, among others, the Invasion Band, a Cebu-based live band, provided entertainment to everyone’s delight. The band surely did set the night’s party mood, almost everyone jammed with them and let out their dancing skills till a little past midnight! Nino, a well-muscled flame thrower and fire dancer, amazed everyone with his one-of-a-kind talent together with his equally-talented lady partner in between the band’s 30-minute break. The party didn’t stop there. Quite a number of party guests proceeded to the beachfront with final shots of whatever booze they had earlier at the ballroom. Amused Merce Abellana-Brenner and eventologist Bong Abella were lucky enough and was able to convince Nino to give them a quick fire dancing lessons. Next thing we knew, it was already a few hours before sunrise.
