The Marco Polo Plaza invites exhibitors for 3rd Annual Bridal Fair

CEBU, Philippines – The Marco Polo Plaza is calling on all wedding planners, jewelers, cake designers, gift makers, photographers and all other individuals and companies who wish to be part of an exclusive group responsible for shaping the dreams of grooms and brides-to-be. The 3rd “Weddings at the Marco Polo Plaza” is happening April 18 & 19 at the Grand Ballroom of Cebu City’s only five-star hotel.

Despite the perceived slowdown on spending and cutback on expenses because of the current global economic crisis, the Marco Polo Plaza continues to enjoy brisk banquet business, specifically in weddings, and continues to receive numerous inquiries and bookings. With these factors and the success of the hotel’s last two bridal fairs, the hotel is encouraged to once again hold “Weddings at the Marco Polo Plaza”, with this year’s theme “New Beginnings.”  

As with the last two bridal fairs, the two-day event will also have many exciting activities to guarantee good attendance.  For the second year in a row, the Marco Polo Plaza is partnering with the Cebu City Civil Registrar’s Office and the Cebu City Health Office to bring selected couples applying for a marriage license in March and April and have their pre-marriage seminars for family planning and other related matters at the bridal fair.  

Event Partners Wedding Essentials and Joyful Weddings will conduct short seminars on Wedding topics, such as etiquette, styling, make-up and planning. Joyful Weddings will also be organizing, specifically for the bridal fair, a series of speed dating games for young professionals who have yet to find their significant others.  The two-day bridal event will culminate in a fashion show with the Wedding collections by the top designers of Cebu City.
