Atty. Jasmine Sanson Oporto organized a free dental and medical mission at the Oporto residence in Balamban. Some 150 children and their parents were given free medicine, toothbrush and toothpaste. The beneficiaries also received children’s books, coloring pencils, among many others from some of the sponsors of the project.

The medical group attendees were Cebu Dental Society president Dr. Shiela Nacua, Dr. Jera Marie Oporto, Dr. Nida Ygnacio, Dr. Lucilo Niñal, Dr. Cleofe Famador, Dr. Caridad Dawat, Dr. Rodivie Docor, Dr. Pilar Inoc, Dr. Florespina Jenjaquet, Dr. Che Berdin, Dr. Mafe Suarez, Dr. Cirinea Manaay, Dr. Tepora Toong, Dr. Jessica Cabahug, Dr. Christie Villamor, Dr. Alice Chua, Dr. Jun Niñal, Dr. Vicente Cabahug, Dr. Jane O. Flordeles, Dr. Sally Lou Bu Barral and Dr. Rejayce Tapic. The nurses who attended were Therese Cabahug, Johanna Flordelis and Christie Ann Cabahug.

ANVS Class ‘59 celebrates success with significance. The Abellana National Vocational School (now ANS) graduates of 1959 will celebrate their 50th Jubilee on Saturday, March 28 at 4PM at the Main Library Building, Abellana Campus along Osmeña Boulevard.

The Technical Working Group, in its final meeting at Corona del Mar hosted by Dr. Raul and Mrs. Gloria Alcarez, decided to make “relevance” the basis for the activities during their week-long celebration. The group scheduled the following:

•Launching of Class ’59 Donation

•Class ’59 Golden Jubilee Reunion

Prizes and surprises await every jubilarian and guests.

“Palig-unay sa Tuhod,” non-stop dancing winners will receive the “Salazar Award” or “Espina Surprise.”

To add to the glee, the jubilarians are urged to come to the party with a 1960s revival attire. Beautiful prizes await a 59er with the most authentic look!

The Jubilee’s theme is: “Journeying Together from success to significance.”
