Sundry Happenings Around Town
We’re still on it…the celebration of the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Ox. And the Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, headed by GM Raymond Bragg, welcomed the Year of the Ox with a grand lion and dragon dance performed at the hotel lobby. While watching the dance ceremony, we had the pleasure of drinking different kinds of tea. After which, the traditional Chinese lunch followed at the Tides resto to greet the new year with bullishness and optimism.
Shangri-La’s very gracious hosts were: GM Raymond Bragg, Darren Conole, F&B Director for Beverage; Lesley Tan, F&B Marketing & Promotions Manager; and Mildred Amon, Director of Communications.
