Love is in the air

Love moves in mysterious ways, goes a very popular song, and in this lovely month of love, Cupid is in frenzy. Cynics almost always cry in unison that love is purely a chemical reaction that will decay in six months. But these love struck newly weds are more in love now than when they first met during their college years.

With chic names like Chloe and Zeed, most naturally they, together with the entourage, were garbed in equally chic wedding ensembles conceptualized by this fashion scribe and executed by Protacio as they exchanged vows and became Mr. and Mrs. Kangleon. She in a serpentine immaculate white tulle strapless gown with undulating pleat patterned on the fitted bodice while he in a 3 piece gunmetal suit complete with matching vest. The bride’s entourage looked like silver belles as they donned metallic silver strapless mermaid gowns patterned after the bride’s. The gents in waiting were in piña barongs with Nehru necklines for an oriental touch. Not to be outdone was the statuesque mother of the groom Gena Julia Germano Kangleon in pleated and draped silver gown with voluminous overlay connoting a Greek goddess.

The newly weds respective families came as far as the United States of America, Leyte and Southern Leyte,  Bukidnon and Cagayan de Oro City to witness the union of souls blessed with love.
