Twinings raises cup to RP-UK Friendship Week 2008

Twinings, the world-famous English tea brand with 21 specialty tea blends, joined the Filipino and British communities in commemorating the second RP-UK Friendship Week. The week-long affair, organized by the British Council in coordination with the British Embassy Manila, British Alumni Association, British Chamber of Commerce and the UK Trade and Investment, featured various activities that highlighted the British culture and its long history with the Filipino people. Twinings joined in the celebration by bringing the very British tradition of drinking tea to the attendees and provided its specialty iced and hot tea selections.

The Afternoon High Tea held at the Manila Polo Club (seen in photo) showcased a wide selection of Twinings tea, served English-style, piping hot, in fine china.
