Norweigan artist at Gallery Q

Some of Cebu’s prominent people and friends gathered for a night of pleasantries and art appreciation to mark Gallery Q’s 7th exhibit featuring the vibrant works of Norwegian artist, Karin Jordal.

Karin’s ethereal themes, serene environments and wispy abstracts in blooming colors, vibrate with insight and tranquility. Some of her acrylics depict spirit beings which have stirred the emotions of viewers while her other artworks portray the mountainous and oceanic geography of her country — Norway.

Gallery Q aims to serve as a venue where local artists can express their art. The gallery also hopes to become a catalyst for change so art can flourish as a vibrant local industry and to provide linkages with international artists and art industry players for potential transfer of technology and art exchanges.
