Raiding Dianne's closet

- Eunice Amorado -

Looking for fabulous clothes, chic accessories, and stylish bags? Try Dianne’s Closet along V. Urgello Street.

Dianne’s Closet caters to women 18 years old and above who, just like the owner, love anything and everything girly, feminine and comfortable. A certified “kikay,” Dianne Gandionco, who has been a model and is an architect by profession, refers to her store like it is literally her closet because she wears and uses whatever is found there.

“I don’t sell something which I don’t believe in,” the 26-year old declares as she entertains visitors wearing a gray and white ensemble that matches the mannequin’s.

Most of the items found at the store were handpicked by the owner herself during her travels to Bangkok, Thailand, while some are from her sister’s Wang Collection. What make the items more attractive are the prices that range from P100 to P1,200, while the bags cost not more than P1,500. Accessories are provided by Fetish.

Although one can find heaps of really good stuff at the store, Dianne likes boosting her customer’s confidence, telling them that it’s not the pretty dress that makes the overall package but one’s personality. “Confidence is the best accessory,” she adds.

Aside from the fact that the owner admits “making her own designs someday is not a far-fetched idea,” she also admits to having plans of adding the Calayan Skin Care line to the store soon, which would add to the reasons why Dianne’s Closet is worth a visit. And if one wants to do it hassle-free, she could always raid the closet at www.diannesclosetmultiply.com.
