The Atrium of The Northwing at the SM City Cebu had a grand transformation last Friday during its launch as Cebu’s ultimate lifestyle destination. Fashion and glamour kicked into high gear with Gear and Glam, an exhibit and fashion show event featuring the collections of the Performance and Classic Car Enthusiasts of Cebu (PACE) and haute couture collections inspired by the classic cars presented by the Fashion Council of Cebu (FCC).

The event showcased the finest collections of Metro Cebu’s classic car enthusiasts composed of some of the city’s top business

personalities.  The cars featured in the exhibit included a 1957 Corvette Roadster, 1952 Triumph TR2, 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder, 1966 Pontiac GTO, 1961 Jaguar E-type Roadster, 1965 Kougar Jaguar, 1978 Porsche 911 SC,1959 Porsche 356A, and a 1965 Corvette Stingray.

Cebu’s  top designers from fashion Council Cebu (FCC) the likes of Albert  Arriba,  Jun Escario, Arcy Gayatin, Oj Hofer, Philip Rodriguez,  Vania Romoff, Cary  Santiago and  Felix Yu presented nostalgic lines reminiscent of the bygone era when the classic cars were made.  Their original creations came alive with the statuesque runway mannequins from M.A.C.> Models Association of Cebu.
