One of a kind birthday bash

INTO THE SCENE - Han Kintanar -

”It will be a blessing to our brothers and sisters who were left homeless by the storm, and if we are blessed in our own homes, let’s have it overflow to those who also needs blessing, that will certainly bring inner peace,” quipped Stuart Brenner, president of Lovett HKG Ltd, a Thailand-based trading company catering to the US, Canada and Europe, when he celebrated his birthday at their newly-renovated European-inspired manse in Garnetville in Talamban, which was blessed earlier that day.

It was a grand bash with a humble intention.  The good-hearted celebrator requested all his guests that in lieu of material gifts, a donation of any amount for the victims of storm-wrecked Myanmar will be greatly appreciated. All the guests gamely cooperated. So, as the party climaxed at 12 midnight, an announcement was made that the they were able to raise P37,000.00. The donation will be brought by Mr. Kun Bonloom, a Thai business partner of Stuart, who will personally hand it over to the Burmese monks.

The Centerfold Band and Baile Rama Musica provided live entertainment that evening. As the party progressed, gift certificates and gold coins were given out to the lucky winners of the raffle and the dance showdown. A surprise Argentine dance number was presented by Stuart’s loving wife and former beauty queen and model, Merce Abellana. Their daughter Gabriele also rendered a song number.

As expected, the party went on, way past everyone’s bedtime. Happy birthday, Stuart and may your race multiply! You are one of a kind! Cheers!
