Clanza A safer pain reliever

Better safe than sorry.  This is what Clanza, a pain reliever, offers people who are in pain.

Clanza is a pain killer that relieves pain; musculoskeletal trauma, lower back pain, dental pain, dysmenorrhea and inflammations such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Aceclofenac, which is the generic name for Clanza, is registered in over 60 countries worldwide and such non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug or NSAID has treated more than 75 million patients. It is manufactured by Korea United Pharm, Inc., and distributed by One Pharma Co., Inc.

Clanza has been under conditional approval and monitored release by the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) for three years already. Dr. Julius Lecciones, together with four other physicians, conducted a study for BFAD on the efficacy and safety of Clanza. The doctors who conducted the study concluded that in the analysis of 3, 153 Filipino patients, aceclofenac in the  Philippine setting could be an effective drug of choice in a wide range of arthritic and other medical  conditions requiring an NSAID, with a very favorable tolerability profile. This observation in the local setting thus far is in agreement with the known clinical profile of aceclofenac, and in agreement with the favorable assessment of aceclofenac worldwide.

Dr. Carlo Ynion, general manager of One Pharma, said Clanza is lot better than diclofenac because it causes less gastric irritations or GI. That is why it claims to be a safer pain reliever.
