Morticians' Confab

The Philippine Mortuary Association (PMA) recently held its annual convention in Davao City.  The theme of the activity, "Defining Our Role in the Philippine Health Sector," highlighted new developments in the mortuary industry including modern ways in caring for the remains of the departed and in attending to the needs of those who remained.

 Several issues were also discussed during the conference including the lack of laws governing the industry, health hazard faced by the embalmers,and environmental concerns.
