Confirmation Ceremonies

It was a festive affair for the Sarmiento family – the confirmation rites of Jasmin Ellaine and Jennifer Ellaine Sarmiento, daughters of Edgar and Penny Sarmiento.

The rite was held at the Pedro Calungsod Shrine at Archbishop Palace. Jasmine Ellaine’s godparents are Mayor Tomas Osmeña and wife Margot, Congressman Reynaldo Uy and Eleanor Duterte, Michael Colina and Guendolyn Colina, Philip Yap and Dra. Helen Yap, Robert Bresenhan and Dra. Antoniette Cabahug, Joseph Calina and Amelia de Leon, Chester Cokaliong and Juliet Chan, Dan Dia and Aina Puno Sanchez, Dr. Gary Rivera and Madelyn Theamtusana, Boie Barria and Litte. Godparents of Jennifer Ellaine are Congressman Pablo Garcia and Judge Esperanza Garcia (Ret), Congressman Roberto Cajes and Mayor Judith del Rosario Cajes, Wally Liu and Paulene Liu, Atty. Antonio Bacalso and Merle Lim Aquino, Edwin Bautista and Gemma Barria, Rolando Ceniza and Atty. The University of the Visayas Elementary Department Parents-Teachers Community Association held a Family Day, Sporstfest and Induction of officers recently. A parade of athletes and selection of Mrs. PTCA were held at the UV Quadrangle.
