Fashion in love

Love is in the air. Gift shops and restaurants are taking advantage of the “love” season – either offering great deals and special rates for couples who wish to avail of their services. Everyone seems so loving and caring. Lovers are always on cloud nine – all set for Valentine’s Day. Worrying what to wear on your date? Read on...

On Valentine’s Day, we see red everywhere – red Ts, in particular. These Ts either have heart-shaped prints all over or embellished with Valentine symbols such as cupids, arrows, and the like. While having a stroll somewhere uptown, I spotted wardrobe styles and outfits which you might consider wearing on your Vday date – maybe in a posh restaurant or even on a streetside grill house or in any place you consider romantic. However, you might as well get rid of the red color; go against the trend, fellas. So, step up in style! Here are some style packs for you to choose from:

Say, if you wear something YELLOW on Vday, it means you are in dire need of a date. Some believe it’s bad luck, hence, you’ll never gonna have a date in your entire life. Better think twice. These are old hearsays; besides, when you are a counterculturalist with regards to your fashion statement, you are able to explore and later on, discover new trends. If you look fab in yellow, then grab that top! Hot jumpers – also high-waisted –  are on display in bazaars these days. You can pair it with your favorite jersey top!

Embellished tops are still in these days. Glitzy sequined tubes are still gaining popularity. From time to time, we see these shiny embellished tank tops during special occasions. Different colored stones, laces, pins and button adds life to a plain gold tunic-like blouse. When you learn the art embellishment, it’s easy for you to recreate and modify an old style shirt.

Girls have fun wearing silk dresses or floaty dresses these days. We take a break from the usual blouse and jeans outfit during mall visits and on special occasions. Patent wedges/sky-high wedges, sexy sandals, slip ons and flip flops can go well with your cutesy dresses. These dresses, with feminine cuts, may also be paired with a sexy jeans. Don’t forget to accessorize!

There you go. The most important thing is you’re comfortable (with what you wear) while sharing a slice of Chocolate Mud Cake with two glasses of red wine in Yo.U Restobar with your significant other. Look captivating this Valentine’s Day...dress up in style!
