Swiss-Belhotel International, the manager of hotels, resorts and serviced residences in Asia, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Alfred Reyes to the Regional Director of Operations and Development, Philippines of Swiss-Belhotel International effective January 1, 2008.
Over the past 18 years, Mr. Reyes has worked with a number of international hotels in the Philippines including The Pan Pacific, Hyatt Regency and Westin Philippines Plaza in Manila and Cebu Plaza. Internationally he has held various roles in hotels in Hilton in Jakarta, Indonesia and Grand Formosa Regent Taipei, Taiwan. He became the General Manager of the Year awarded during the 2006 Swiss-Belhotel GM conference in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Mr. Reyes, 40 years of age, joined Swiss-Belhotel International as the General Manager of The Linden Suites, Manila, Philippines in April 2003. He graduated from University of San Jose Recoletos, Cebu City, Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Hospitality Management. He also attended the General Manager's Certification Program from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
He speaks English, Tagalog and Mandarin.
In his new role, Mr. Reyes will be instrumental in developing management opportunities in Philippines.
