Reinventing Retail

Fashion isn’t what it used to be. Aside from the blunt comment by the kaiser of style, Karl Lagerfeld: “Fashion is so ugly you have to change it every 6 months!”, clothes are being dished out in thousands there is no distinction from one retail brand to the next.

But not with Penshoppe. Still, style continues to flourish in this realm of retail, with the new concept boutique recently opened at the Ayala Center Cebu coupled with a much ballyhooed fashion  show cum concert. Penshoppe successfully paved the way for the transition of fashion from everyday to holiday with a little help of friends like Cybill Gayatin, Jackie Climaco and Vania Romoff. The tres chic albeit fashion forward thinking ladies styled Penshoppe’s latest coup. During a season where colour reigns supreme, they must have felt a backlash for what sashayed on the runway were clothes in black, gray, maroon, white and khaki with a little hint of chartreuse and blush. And all were very edgy, one can discern their passion for the craft.

Penshoppe provided the already chic clothes and the way it was pulled together by Cybill Gayatin, Jackie Climaco and Vania Romoff elevated it to stratospheric heights!  Bravissimo!
