It takes a luxe airlines to come up with a luxe ambiance for a formal awards night among its top producers. Where else but in the Rosal Ballroom of Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa.
Cocktails were served at the lobby where Qatar top officials, led by the distinguished Mr. Rohan Seneviratne – Area Manager for the Philippines and Micronesia with the svelte and brainy Ms. Mary Rose Macapagal – District Sales Manager for Visayas & Mindanao based in Cebu. Other Qatar Cebu Office ladies moved about, attending to the continuous inflow of guests: Gidget Hicarte (senior marketing & pricing agent), Girlie Robles (airport services manager) who later led in the invocation, Luisa Michael (senior reservations & ticketing agent), Ma. Cheryl Anuada, Heights Uy, Lovelyza Gadin and Janice Verallo of reservations/ticketing, along with Hazel Mae Castro – admin assistant.
Bowls of imported crimson roses adorned each table as servings of oven baked salmon with rib eye steak in balsamic bell pepper were savored by the guests with unending pouring of quality wines. Then the awards began.
