Great Dining Experience at Lai Garden Teahouse

- Sarinah Soliano • USJ-R Masscom Intern -

Oriental cuisines have now dominated the tastes of Cebuanos. Whether you’ll be dining in a fancy restaurant or an average eatery, you’ll find dishes that reflect the alluring and exotic dishes of the orient.

At Lai Garden Teahouse, you can experience that wonderful and unique experience in eating Chinese cuisines. With its 2nd branch opening at SM Northwing, enjoy succulent Chinese favorites at their very best. Marielou Yu, one of Lai Garden’s owners, truthfully expresses high hopes in operating this new company.

Since it’s her first time to manage Lai Garden, Yu affirms that it is one of the biggest challenges yet that she has to face. SM’s massive opportunity in attracting customers and converging hundreds of shoppers daily has led her to conclude that this mall would be a perfect location for continuing Lai Garden’s quest to beguile diners with its authentic selection of Chinese cuisines.

Food trippers will appreciate Lai Garden’s welcoming ambience. Hand-painted flowers fill up the walls. Magnificent lampshades with matching flower-painted decorations are on the ceiling. Customers will have the feeling of being in a garden while engrossing themselves in their favorite Chinese dishes.

Excellent staff service is perceived upon entering, as a result of their technically advanced and intensive training. Lai Garden’s employees are quick in doing their tasks. These people are well-chosen by Yu, who stressed that they can take you to a different dining experience.

With a lot of help from “the circle of friends,” support from her husband and son, Yu is confident to supervise Lai Garden Teahouse in the best way possible. Featured in some  Japanese, Korean and Hong Kong magazines, this restaurant will further attract customers in other parts of Asia.

Great food at an affordable price and high-quality service is what you’ll expect at Lai Garden Teahouse. As Marielou puts it, “be ready to be enticed with our food, served fresh straight to your table.”
