Amid the stiff competition in the memorial garden industry, Angelicum Garden of Angels has remained steadfast in its promise to provide only quality service. After all, its main target is not purely business but to provide a heritage not only at the heart of Canduman, Mandaue City, but to the entire country, being a beautiful garden for both the dead and the living.

"Angelicum is more than business, it is about heritage," said Angelicum's marketing manager Jun Yu.

Yu explained that during the first four years since they have started operating, what they've been focusing was the enhancement of the 7.5 hectare area, and "not the expansion." Because they have already too much on their hands as it is, like putting up more amenities and facilities in the area for the satisfaction of their  clients, who have become their best advertisers, their sales have skyrocketed without them lowering the price.

Everyone is invited to see the place, of course. Yu said that they can do it anytime as Angelicum is open to everyone all the time. In fact, it has become a recreational park for the neighbors, which means the place is not the usual memorial garden that often gives the visitor an eerie feeling, resulting only in brief visits.

Angelicum, Yu said, has well-landscaped gardens, making the place "maintenance-free" for its clients. The place also boasts of its Pavilion for private functions or holy Masses, a children's playground, a lagoon area, a chapel, a meditation garden, a concrete 10-meter road network with underground utilities, male & female toilets in four different locations, parking facilities, and elegant palladian development concept characterized by stylish focal points such as the grand main gate and the grand driveway.

"Our goal is not just to put beauty to the park, but create an ambience that can make you feel so much at home. You don't feel eerie, not like in most memorial gardens that when the word cemetery is mentioned, you get scared. You don't want to stay long when you visit. Here, with the beautiful environment, you can unwind, relax, and have a peaceful mind because Angelicum is not only a garden for the dead but also for the living," Yu quipped.

In fact, today and tomorrow (Nov. 1 and 2), after a holy Mass at 4PM, a violin quartet will be at the Angelicum Garden of Angels to perform classical pieces for everyone who visits there.

"We've had concerts in the park, and things that were not done before in places such as this. Angelicum is the memorial park among other memorial parks," the marketing manager said.

Part of the Halloween celebration, Yu declared, is an ongoing promotion they have, wherein only a 20-percent down payment is required for a purchase of a space at Angelicum. This special package is payable in three years, without interest, he stressed. And for those who want to reserve for a particular lot, a P5,000 cash is all they need. Angelicum has a columbary at the Garden Columbarium (a storage for cremated remains and used as a bone ossuary); lawn lots; garden lots; and family estates (or mausoleums) to choose from. All are priced affordably and the buyer can expect Angelicum to take care of his facility, that even if he goes out of the country, and come back in 15 years' time, it will still be the same as when he last left it, or probably a lot better, because Angelicum is committed to giving more to its clients without asking for additional fees, Yu explained.

"Your investment today will always be our future. The legacy that the King family takes great pride in because of service and quality has always been the name of the game," he said.
