Halloween Adventure at the Shangri-La

It's a howling adventure on Hallow's Eve, as Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa presents a Children's Halloween Party on October 31, 2007 at the resort's Adventure Zone.

Trick or treating starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Adventure Zone registration area. Children ages four to 12 years old may participate in the activity, whether in-house or walk-in guests, so long as they register for the event and come in costume. For only Php450 net, the package includes trick or treating, followed by a special Children's Dinner Party, entertainment and games, and a magic show.

The Adventure Zone, a multi-level playground, is popular with children, who can swing on ropes, climb up and down nets and ladders, and crawl through shapes and heights of safely padded vinyl. Well-trained staff supervises each section of Adventure Zone, to ensure a fun and safe experience for both child and parent. Among the highlights of the playground are the Rainbow Slide, the Net Swing, and the 180-degree vertical Drop Slide. Children are reminded to bring long-sleeved shirts and socks when playing in the Adventure Zone.

Families who want to use the resort's outdoor facilities for the whole day may avail of the Day in Paradise pass. The pass includes complimentary use of the beach and two swimming pools with towels, buffet lunch at Tides restaurant, complementary use of sauna and steam bath, and savings off salon services or foot reflexology at the Health Club. Moreover, children below three years old may dine free when accompanied by parents.
