Waterfront Hotel’s anniversary celebration

It was a grandiose affair that Waterfront Hotel and Casino turned out with the biggest fashion event to take place in a long time: Samsung Style Watch held at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel last August 24-26.

The fashion show featured the country’s top fashion designers in their latest collections. Samsung Style Watch convened the biggest personalities in the fashion industry from fashion designers to editors, make-up artists, models, including the production team of the country’s premier fashion show director Jackie Aquino.

Last August 24 presented Clothes for Life, Cebu’s foremost association of designers, whose members rendered their fashion forecast for 2008 – Salvador Malto, Harley Ruedas, Ren Manabat, Joy Bernaldez, Protacio Empacis, Marichu Tan, Edwin Ao, Edwin Alba, Humberto Villegas, Wendell Quisido, Ray Kuan, Cary Santiago, Bryan Aloquin and Alain Fonte.

Last August 25 was Samsung Metrowear: It was the second time since 2004 that famed Metrowear series, spearheaded by Metro Magazine, took place in Cebu City. Samsung Metrowear was opened by none other than ABS-CBN Publishing General Manager Ms. Thelma Sioson-San Juan together with Waterfront General Manager Mr. Marco Protacio and ABS-CBN Publishing President Mr. Ernie Lopez. August 26 was Sposabella, a bridal fashion show with top designers from Cebu and Manila: Randy Ortiz, Anthony Nocom, Viltorio Barba, JC Buendia, Rhett Eala, Arcy Gayatin, Patrice Ramos-Diaz, Philip Rodriguez, OJ Hofer, Jun Escario, Rajo Laurel, Joji Lloren, Dennie Lustico, Ivarluski Aseron, Minnie Yuvienco, Albert Arriba, Monique Lhuillier and Felix Yu.
