Rustan’s Supermarket outlet now open anew!

PEOPLE PLACES - Flor S. YNCLINO -

Cebu’s retail scene just acquired a fresh, new addition. Rustan’s Supermarket celebrated the grand launch of its latest branch at the Basement Level, Expansion Building of Ayala Center Cebu. The retail giant marked the occasion with a Carribean-inspired party attended by the Queen City of the South’s most prominent personalities.

Rustan Group of Companies founder and chairman, Ambassador Bienvenido Tantoco Sr. with Rustan Commercial Corporation general manager, and young powerhouse couple Donnie and Crickette Tantoco, president and vice president for marketing and merchandising of Rustan’s Supercenters, Inc. were all there to welcome guests like Mayor Tommy Osmeña and wife Margot, Teresin Mendezona, Annie Aboitiz, Mary Ann Arculli, Christine Pelaez, Wrgley’s Karen Dodas, Alcordo Advertising’s Meanne Alcordo, Landco’s Sheila Sarmiento, Pel Tecson, Tamsin Booth, Susie Oliver, Dranix GM Ray Yap, Ayala Malls VP and Deputy head Rowena Tomeldan, Ralph Joseph, Sammy Sih, Dir. Esteban Vorbeck, SanMig’s Gogo Sievert, Karl Cotaoco of Unilever and Nestle’s Mike Tanchanco.

Guests were regaled with splendid performances from Ultimate Champion Rachelle Ann Go and Asia’s Pop Idol Christian Bautista, as well as by UC’s Dance Troupe. The scrumptious menu prepared by Café Laguna and Lemon Grass were a hit. A private shopping spree capped the evening off with guests loading up on a variety of the freshest food items like meat, seafood, fruits, veggies, dairy, deli, and baked products, plus a bevy of imported and local products and organic treats, of which Rustan’s is very known for.
