A few years back, the fashion cognoscenti was enthralled and enticed by gala shows in this southern side of the country. With the inspiring success of the previous Weddings at the Waterfront 2002, 2003 and 2004, Waterfront's GM Mr. Marco Protacio, together with Communications Director Ms. Renee Villasin, are gearing up for a bigger, all-inclusive fashion affair that Cebu City has seen: Samsung Style Watch at the Waterfront, slated on August 24, 25 and 26, 2007 at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.

Visualized as an elegant fashion exposition showcasing a various selection and display of the most respected names in the fashion industry, the finest style resources, and a series of professionally choreographed runway shows directed by the Philippine's premier fashion show director, Mr. Jackie C. Aquino. Close to 50 female and male runway mannequins from Cebu and Manila will strut their stuff for the three day exposition. Metro Magazine has teamed up with Waterfront to exclusively cover the three-day affair, and Samsung has signed up as event co-presentor. Other co-presentors are Landco, Marrionaud and Waterfront Hotels & Casinos. Samsung Style Watch at the Waterfront is also brought to you by Maidenform, Gucci, Hugo Boss and Escada. Other sponsors are Norkis Group of Companies and M.A.C.> Models Association of Cebu with local media partners The Freeman and Cebu Daily News.

Day Two: August 25, Saturday

Samsung Style Watch at the Waterfront presents Samsung Metrowear

Waterfront Style Watch and METRO bring the famed Metrowear to Cebu, featuring the Fashion Council of Cebu in their holiday collection. Fashion Council of Cebu designers are Arcy Gayatin, Philip Rodriguez, Oj Hofer, Jun Escario, Ditas Rodriguez, Minnie Yuvienco, Albert Arriba, Felix Yu.

Day Three: August 26, Sunday

Samsung Style Watch at the Waterfront presents Sposabella

Sposabella, the time-honored Bridal Fashion Show made popular by Weddings at the Waterfront, convenes the creative flair of the country's top fashion designers: The Fashion & Design Council of the Philippines merge with The Fashion Council of Cebu in a stunning display of tropical and classical bridal gowns.

It will feature the bridal creations of Randy Ortiz, Anthony Nocom, Vittorio Barba, JC Buendia, Rhett Eala, Arcy Gayatin, Patrice Ramos-Diaz, Philip Rodriguez, Oj Hofer, Jun Escario, Rajo Laurel, Joji Lloren, Dennis Lustico, Ivarluski Aseron, Ditas Rodriguez, Minnie Yuvienco, Albert Arriba, Felix Yu, and Hollywood's favorite Monique Lhuillier.
