A rare opportunity presents itself when Future Trade International and Casino Español de Cebu jointly host a wine pairing dinner with Rick Boyer, Robert Mondavi Private Selection Wine maker on Monday, July 30 at the club's Grand Ballroom.
The event promises to be an unforgettable experience for wine connoisseurs and lovers of the good life. The gastronomic feast will have for starters salmon tartar with creamy yogurt paired with Robert Mondavi Private Selection Fume Blanc; prawns and scallop salad with tangy mango martini salsa will be served as appetizers followed by double-boiled chicken consommé, with crispy bacon and herb croutons, paired with Robert Mondavi Private Selection Pinot Noir. Prior to the main course a green mango sherbet, with vodka essence will be served. The highlight of what surely will be a most unforgettable experience will be the Roast U.S.Angus Rib Eye of Beef with red wine sauce, tower of buttered vegetables and parsley mashed potatoes paired with Robert Mondavi Private Selection Cabernet Sauvignon. The piece de resistance will be the cream of orange caramel with cinnamon sticks paired with Robert Mondavi Napa Range Moscato D Oro.
