Psalmstré celebrates 7 years of success

It was a big night when Psalmstré Enteprises Inc. celebrated its 7th anniversary on July 7 at the MetroBar along West Avenue, Quezon City. The event was attended by themanagement and staff,friends and supporters of the company and its affiliates: CreWorks Asia, Jamesquare Printing Corp., Placenta Formula Cosmetics Co., and Psalmstré Health & Beauty Center.

Founded in Cebuin 2000 byMr. Jaime “Jim” Acosta, the company gotits name from the term “Psalms”—the sacred songs of offerings to God, and “tree” pursuant to the message in Psalms 1:1-3 which inspired Jim to start a business obtained by love and worked with faith.

From its humble beginnings in Mandaue City, the company has grown to become a multi-million business marketing and distributing health and beauty products. Its product lines includethe Psalmstré New PlacentaandOlive CSoap beauty collections, Livermin 870mgSoft Gel Capsule, Vitaginseng Soft Gel Capsule, Vitaginseng Lemon Tea, and other Korean Red Ginseng products.

The Psalmstré 7th Anniversary celebration was highlighted by a fashion show bannered bysome of the country’s most popularbeauty queens: Sunshine Castillo (Mutya ng Pilipinas 2005), Justine Gabionza (Miss Tourism International 2006), Margaret Ann Bayot (Bb. Pilipinas World 2006), Kimdelos Santos (Elite Model Look Philippines 2006), JP Abinuman (Bb. Pilipinas runnerup), Catherine Untalan (Miss Earth Philipines 2006), and Ms. Melanie Marquez (Miss International 1979) and chief endorser for Psalmstre’s New Placenta beauty products. Special guest Lovi Poe, the endorser for Olive C, rendered two song numbers and joined the models for the finale. Manila designers: Lloyd Arceo, Vekart Adrao, Ricky Abad, Ruel Rivera, Rey Lazaro, Pencil Diestra, and Aryel Dulaycreated the whole ensemble for the fashion show.

The event was not only a showcase for the company’s quality and highly competitive products. It also showed off the extraordinary sing and dancetalents of the staff which fascinated the audience. From CreWorks Asia artist Lyn Reyes and dancers ( four of them are from Cebu) who opened the show with an upbeat number;Arvi and Gwen who did a fabulous duet,toSuzette Rodriguez who ably emceed the show—what a job well-done!
