Mac Tonight Mad Dash 2007

Another breathtaking challenge is set for superlative McDonald’s aficionados as the world’s most favorite fast food brings Mac Tonight Mad Dash on July 24, 2007.

This exhilarating endeavor will test 24 teams of two people to race around 24, 24-hour stores around Metro Manila for 24 hours. If you are a Filipino citizen, at least 18-30 years old and can make a whopping P150-McDonald’s food purchase plus coke at any time of the day from any McDonald’s store, then you are fit to take on the challenge. 

There’s not much time to lose for the deadline of the submission of entries will be on July 18, 2007. After your P150 purchase of McDonald’s products, you only have to fill out the application form which will be your only passport to the raffle draw on July 19.  Visayas and Mindanao entries will be drawn on July 20. 

21 Luzon and three Visayas-Mindanao lucky pairs shall be tagged as the official 24 Mac Tonight Mad Dash challengers.  Vsayas and Mindanao pairs shall be flown to Manila, all expenses paid.  The 24 challengers will race throughout the day and night of July 24 and the team who completes their 24 stops will win an astounding P24, 000.00

In an interview with The Freeman, Margot Torres, McDonald’s VP for Marketing, divulged the surprises at stake for the activity. “This is our newest blowout to our customers who’ve supported us through the years. This activity highlights the fact that you can enjoy McDonald’s anytime of the day, 24 hours.”

On July 23, 11:30 p.m., all 24 pairs shall assemble at McDonald’s Las Piñas.  And on July 24, 12:01 a.m., Tim Yap, the official host for the challenge, shall open the race.  Live footage will be shown at ABS-CBN channel 3, the official partner station of McDonald’s Mac Tonight Mad Dash. 

“Aside from our participants, we will also be featuring three celebrity pairs, including a PBB season 2 duo, who will compete for charity.  That’s something to watch out for,” Torres added.

Cebu McDonald’s enthusiasts were enticed to join the competition during the grand opening at McDonald’s Sykes last July 13.  This newest addition to the McDonald’s family is immensely chic and sophisticated; it totally redefines the fastfood dining experience.  This world class and quick-service food hub caters to consumers in an accessible manner.  Its doors are open 24 hours a day for non-stop appetite satisfaction.
