Beginning May 29, SilkAir, the Regional Wing of Singapore Airlines, will fly nine (9) times a week from Cebu to Singapore, with the addition of two new direct flights every Tuesday and Thursday.
The additional new flights, operated on the airline’s newest A319 aircraft received in the last week, complement the existing daily flights by offering the Visayas and Mindanao markets, direct flights to Singapore and onward to more than ninety (90) destinations in the Singapore Airlines network.
Flight MI543 leaves Mactan-Cebu International Airport on Tuesdays at 15:10 in the afternoon and arrives in Singapore in the early evening at 18:40 while on Thursdays, Flight MI545 leaves Cebu at 19:10 and arrives in Singapore at 22:40, a perfect connection for those with onward travel to Australia, Europe and North Asia.
The new flights come hot on the heels of the Great Singapore Sale beginning 25 May and lasts till July 22. In partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), SilkAir invites tourists and shopaholics to participate in this eight-week shopping extravaganza, where different shopping precincts offer fabulous sales on fashion, jewelry and electronics up to as much as 70 percent discount!
