Potential to surefire Box-Office Hits

The world’s coolest and hottest super heroes are back in “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.” Reprising their roles in the action-packed sequel are Ioan Gruffudd as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Jessica Alba as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Chris Evans as Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Michael Chiklis as Ben Grimm/The Thing where a bigger challenge confronts the four as they try to stop the indestructible cosmic being known as the Silver Surfer in destroying the planet earth. Rejoining the four are Julian McMahon as Dr. Doom and Kerry Washington as Alicia Masters who is in love with Ben Grimm.

Still the only man for the job, Bruce Willis reprises his signature role as New York cop John McClane who always finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time in the upcoming spectacular thriller action film “Die Hard 4.0.” In the movie, John McClane takes on his mostly deadly enemies yet: ruthless cyber terrorists, with the power and technical expertise to cripple the United States – spreading chaos across the globe. The wisecracking cop teams up with Justin Long, who plays brilliant computer hacker Matt Farrell. Together the duo set out to stop the ruthless villains who are attacking the nation’s infrastructure. 

After 17 years on the air, Springfield’s favorite family the Simpsons finally makes it to the big screen in “The Simpsons Movie.” Homer (Dan Castellaneta), Marge (Julie Kavner), Bart (Nancy Cartwright), Lisa (Yeardley Smith) and Maggie Simpson will be there, along with regulars like Moe the bartender (Hank Azaria) and Mr. Burns (Harry Shearer). In the movie, when Homer accidentally pollutes the river with toxic waste from the nuclear power plant, he gets fired from his job, and everyone has to evacuate Springfield, possibly forever.

More of superhuman strength unravels in the Russian fantasy sci-fi “Day Watch (Dnevnoi Dozor)” directed and written by Timur Bekmambetov based on the best-selling sci-fi trilogy novels of Sergei Lukyanenko entitled “Night Watch,” “Day Watch” and “Dusk Watch.” Set in contemporary Moscow, “Day Watch” revolves around the conflict and balance maintained between the forces of light and darkness – the result of a medieval truce between the opposing sides.

Newly discovered powers will reign supreme in “The Dark Is Rising” based on the acclaimed novel by Susan Cooper. The film is the first adaptation of the author’s acclaimed ‘The Dark is Rising’ Sequence and introduces newcomer Alexander Ludwig who essays the film’s hero – Will Stanton. The film tells the story of Will Stanton, a young man who learns he is the last of a group of warriors who have dedicated their lives to fighting the forces of the Dark. Traveling back and forth through time, Will hunts for a series of mysterious clues and encounters forces of unimaginable evil. With the Dark once again rising, the future of the world rests in Will’s hands. 

“Hitman” introduces a new breed of genetically-engineered assassin known as Agent 47 played by chameleon-like actor Timothy Olyphant (who also stars in ‘Die Hard 4.0’ with Bruce Willis). The gun-for-hire agent works for a mysterious organization called The Agency but his latest assignment puts him in jeopardy when a group of power-hungry politician embroils him in a far-reaching conspiracy.

Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep and Robert Redford star in the high-profile thriller drama “Lions for Lambs.”  The film tells the poignant and layered story of several individuals caught up at various ends of the nation’s war on terror – a politician (Cruise) attempting to spin the latest ‘comprehensive strategy’ to a network news journalist (Streep), an idealistic professor (Redford) trying to convince one of his most promising students to change the course of his life, and two young men fighting in the snow-capped mountains of Afghanistan, whose desire to live a life of meaning leads them to join the U.S. army and the fight against global terrorism.
