Cebu’s biggest Bridal Fair at The Marquee of Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa

Rustan’s and Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa launched "Weddings & Beyond" last March 24 at The Marquee of the resort, together with Wedding Essentials and The Write Impressions.

"Weddings & Beyond" is Rustan’s complete gift registry program that covers wedding gowns, jewelry, cosmetics, toiletries, household furnishings and innovative gift ideas to last beyond weddings, including anniversaries, house-warming parties, and life’s milestones.

On the afternoon of March 24, soon-to-be brides and grooms previewed the exhibit area in the Marquee, featuring Rustan’s exclusive brands, jewelry from Tiffany, Cartier, Chopard, Carrera, and Rustan’s Silver Vault; the latest makeup collections from Chanel, Christian Dior, Clarins, Nars and Laura Mercier; gift items, as well as interactive booths from CHI – The Spa at Shangri-La, Cebu’s top wedding coordinators and suppliers such as Teresin Mendezona, Pinky Chang, Marissa Unchuan, Kate Dychanco-Anzani, Butch Carungay, Debbie Huang, Stanz Catalan, Bong Abella and Jim Ubalde.

That evening, The Marquee was transformed into a bridal paradise, recreating the dreamy and romantic mood of a wedding reception, replete with "moving brides" in a fashion show featuring Bergamo, Philip Rodriguez, Arcy Gayatin, Felix Yu, Protacio, Jun Escario, Oj Hofer, Ditas Rodriguez and Minnie Yuvienco.

The Marquee, unveiled during the ASEAN Gala Dinner last January 14, is Shangri-La’s newest multi-function tent, raising special occasions to a higher bar and a much grander scale. Occupying an area of 1,200 square meters, The Marquee’s spacious interiors is the perfect venue for lavish weddings, gala dinners, social gatherings, conventions, exhibits, and all kinds of grand events.
