2007 promises to be the biggest year so far for Cebu. With the ongoing ASEAN SUMMIT to kick it off, followed by the SINULOG celebration, the Miss Cebu 2007 beauty pageant is equally poised to promote not just local tourism for this ever-burgeoning city, but some of the highest forms of Fashion and Entertainment spectacle, as well. With grand stage installations, amazing production numbers, and multiple costume changes, not to mention this year's roster of candidates, Miss Cebu 2007 will definitely position this proud city as the next beauty pageant capital of the Philippines.

With the rise of our very own fashion icon - Monique Lhullier, who we aptly credit for going beyond borders, achieving various accolades, rave reviews and an astounding global success - Cebu's fashion scene will never be the same again. Designers are embracing a whole new approach to fashion, with an international sense of design and a global vision to challenge ourselves to make it there someday.

Now with Miss Cebu on the brink of achieving a worldwide audience as it is covered by international channels and networks like Fashion TV, fashion designers will once again be in that spotlight, and will get to show what we are made of, best of all its MADE IN CEBU.
