Lifestyle's Asia Twist & Shout 60s Party

The Twist & Shout Circa 60s Party last November 17 was organized by Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, Metrobank and Lifestyle Asia. The party was attended by Metrobank's valued clients and VIPs from Cebu and Manila.

Distinguished guests from Manila flew in for the event, including newspaper columnist Bambi Harper, Tito and Sabrina Panlilio, Mike Toledo, Fuego Hotels' Alfredo Roca, national artist Benedicto Cabrera or Bencab, and Lifestyle Asia/ MMPI's publisher Sari Yap.The music was all retro-reminiscent of the decade of Mod, ultrashort mini's, edgy cuts, and the Beatles. The dress code was just as nostalgic. Everyone came in his own interpretation of a 60s outfit-the men wore turtlenecks while the ladies came in everything from Pucci-esque prints to short skirts and tights. It definitely felt like we were in a time warp for several hours!

The night was highlighted by the launch of Metrobank's Platinum Card, with a raffle that gave away three cards with Php 5,000 credit! Other fabulous prizes included overnight stays with breakfast at Marco Polo Plaza Hotel and wine for the holidays. Lifestyle Asia also gave away goody bags to the VIPs, containing magazines and other fun products. Bottles of white wine were also given away to lucky winners of the parlor games.
