Children rondalla at Café Havana

A rondalla composed of children ages ten to twelve will perform at Café Havana on Friday, December 22, at the open patio beginning at 7:30 in the evening.

Belonging to the Childrens Joy Foundation, the rondalla will play Christmas carols alongside their popular repertoire during dinner. This will be their second engagement at Café Havana, the previous one being last Friday, December 15, 2006.

"One of the objectives of the LJC Restaurant Group is to support worthy community goals," declared Egay dela Cruz, restaurant manager. "We are happy to welcome the Childrens Joy Foundation Rondalla whose advocacy is providing the best care and attention to the less fortunate and underprivileged children," he said, adding that Café Havana in Makati and Manila has supported the Foundation in previous years.

During their performance, patrons and diners are welcomed to make a donation to the Foundation's cause; envelopes will be made available by volunteers.
