M.A.C.'s Tenth Anniversary

The fashion cognoscenti- designers, photographers, make up artists, stylists and of course the models came in full force, along with various denizens of the fashion demimonde and sponsors, as M.A.C>Models Association of Cebu celebrated its Tenth Year Anniversary. What started as a group of models under the tutelage of designer Protacio to address the local fashion industry's need for quality models grew to be a byword in this fickle business.

To mention any top model the likes of Marjay Ramirez, Charity Lagahid, Michelle Orais, Chinky Flores Scott, In-in Francisco, Lotis Villa, Steevee Mahboob, Maan Quiñones, Karla Bautista, Melanie Ediza, Anna Maris Igpit, Stephanie Señires, Elvira Stehr, Gwen Trott, Awasis Monague, Maylinn Storbakken and so on, and the name M.A.C. is behind them. No wonder its roster of models are main staples in any fashion event from major shows to corporate launches to glossy magazines and other noteworthy publications. Its models have invaded foreign shores as the abovementioned mannequins had runway shows in Singapore, Milan, Madrid, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Dubai, Sydney, Hawaii and mainland USA cities of Chicago, Washington D.C. and New York.

So everyone trooped to Paseo Marina in Ayala Center Cebu for cocktails, a fashion show by F2- Friends in Fashion and a bridal and photo exhibit photographed by James and Michelle Go of Studio 125, styled by Wenwen Zaspa and Manuel Pila and sponsored by Norkis Yamaha and Ayala Center Cebu, for the momentous event.
