Salvador Malto's The Company We Keep sure made a scene on the beach. And not just any beach, mind you, but on the pristine white sands of world-class Boracay. Hoards of beach gods and goddesses flocked to their impromptu display area smack in front of their Polynesian inspired cottage and by the whiff of the summer breeze, all were gone, kaput, sold out!

Rewind a few weeks before, in the fashion arena that is the Teatro Casino in the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel, close to forty models sashayed in the wooden parquet floor donning The Company We Keep's latest collection of one-of-a-kind swimwear line. So what's the fuss all about? Consider fluorescent colored two-way stretch lycra bikini tops, bottoms, tankinis, swim briefs and headgears. Add to that are crocheted bikini tops and tubes paired with floralia print bikini bottoms with floral appliqués. Throw on some linen clam diggers and drawstring pants and you are ready to go for some seriously fun beach romps. Need I say more? For the glamorous goddesses, there are metallic gold peek-a-boo one piece and two piece swimwear that will transform, with the help of some lamé sarongs, into an evening wear evoking the glamour of the bygone eras.
