White nights

The legendary Paco Rabanne once said that if all people of the world will wear white, it will reflect back all the harmful ultra-violet rays thereby healing the ozone layer and the end result will be, well, an environmental utopia. So, in deference to the French couturier's radical albeit beneficial hypothesis, designers Mario Colmenares, Salvador Malto and Jun Escario eschewed clothes with the unbearable lightness of being, the non color--- white.

At the Shangri-la Ocean Pavilion for Lifestyle Network's media blitz hosted by Angel Jacob, Mario Colmenares' consistency in highlighting the fluidity of the fabric and silhouette, bedecked his femme models in blanc knee length dresses with fine beading and light detailing paired with flat sandals. The guys were in drawstring pants and shorts. Salvador Malto's The Company We Keep swimwear line presented jersey and crocheted bikini tops and bottoms with, surprise, a dash of rouge! Enfante terrible Jun Escario outfitted his models with shredded caftans paired with chic bikini bottoms and linen suits for men that highlighted the height of summer chic.
